Closure of Staplefield Road

WEST SUSSEX COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

STAPLEFIELD ROAD, SLAUGHAM

NOTICE IS hereby given that in pursuance of the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the use of

Staplefield Road, Slaugham is temporarily prohibited for a distance of 500m, from the western junction with Coos Lane on Monday 16 August 2010 until Thursday 19 August 2010.

This closure is necessary to allow the installation of HV Cable in verge and carriageway

It is anticipated the works will be completed in 4 days.

Residential and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

The alternative route for traffic will be via Coos Lane, B2110 Horsham Road, B2114 Cuckfield Road, Staplefield Road

This notice will be effective for a maximum of 5 days from the date given above.
