Hiring the Community Bus
The Handcross District
Community Bus can be used for private hire to non profit making
community groups.
One 16 seater minibus with disabled access.
Hire charges
Minimum charge is 20.00 (25.00 for private functions)
Mileage for local charitable organisations is 1.00 per mile (1.50 after midnight and before 7am) with a waiting time for the driver of 3.00 per hour.
Mileage for private hire is 2.00 per mile (3.00 per mile after midnight) with a waiting time for the driver of 3.00 per hour.
