Thermometer Cards for the Elderly - Winter Advice
THERMOMETER CARDS FOR ELDERLY, HOUSEBOUND and/or those LIVING WITH A CHRONIC ILLNESS or DISABILITY and those with YOUNG CHILDREN or on a LOW INCOME.
The Mid Sussex District Council have produced a thermometer card with the West Sussex Healthy Homes Partnership which lets you know the temperature of your room and the associated risks such as hypothermia. The card also offers useful advice on 'keeping well whatever the weather' and has useful telephone numbers for advice on energy efficiency, health and maximising income.
To obtain one of these cards you can call in to the Handcross Hardware & Craft Store. Should you have any difficulty in getting there you can contact Celia Austin at Mid Sussex District Council on 01444 477370. If the answerphone comes on, leave your name, address and telephone number and she will either get back to you or forward the card direct to you.
