Street Furniture
Street Lighting:
West Sussex County Council provide some street lighting within the Parish, mainly on the A23 London to Brighton Road and some along Tilgate Forest Row and Horsham Road Handcross.
All other street lighting is provided by the Parish Council.
For faults with County Council Street Lights - contact the County Council on 01243 777100
for all Parish Lights, you may either report the fault to the Clerk of the Council on 01403 710173 or Direct to the Parish Council's lighting contractors, Direct Technical Services Ltd - tel: 01474 814966

Bus Shelters:
The Parish Council have provided four bus shelters within the Parish. One in Old Brighton Road South, Pease Pottage, one along Tilgate Forest Row, Pease Pottage, one at Staplefield Road, Handcross and one at Cuckfield Lane, Warninglid.
Public Seats:
The Parish have many public seats in the Parish, two at Pease Pottage, three in Handcross, two in Warninglid. In addition there are public seats in the recreation grounds at Pease, Pottage, Handcross, Warninglid and more around Furnace Pond, Slaugham.
Litter Bins:
The Parish have provided many litter bins in the Parish adjoining the highways and in the recreation ground at Handcross. Other bins in the recreation grounds at Pease Pottage and Warninglid are provided by the Mid Sussex District Council who are responsible for the emptying of all litter bins.
Dog Bins:
There are 4 dog bins in Handcross Recreation Ground and one at the field in St. Martin Close. These are provided by the Parish Council who pay the District Council to provide the emptying facilities.
Salt Bins:
The Parish Council installed two salt bins, one adjacent to Warninglid Primary School, Slaugham Lane, Warninglid and the other by Riflemans Cottage, Riflemans Hill, Warninglid. The West Sussex County Council arrange for the bins to be topped up annually just before the cold weather season.

The Parish Council are pursuing improvements to various highway matters, in particular a footway link between the existing footway from Warninglid Primary School to the junction of Slaugham Lane with Cuckfield Lane and from the bus stop Cuckfield Lane to the Half Moon Public House. This is now in the County Council's forward works programme for 2009/10
